Nature, modern lifestyle and that sense of the Top End are what we are experiencing today.

A Trip Highlight!

The small size of the group made this tour feel like a sigtseeing day out with a friend.  And the friend was Rob whose passion for and knowledge of the environment, the flora and fauna and the history was obvious.  The air conditioned mini bus, the delicious food cooked by his wife Tracey and the relaxed pace of the day made it so enjoyable …

Darwin city tour Itinerary

The Darwin city tour begins following convenient hotel pick-up from downtown Darwin.  Explore several of the loveliest locales in the capital of Australia’s Northern Territory. Count the masts of tall ships in Cullen Bay, glimpse towering cruise yachts at Stokes Hill Wharf, and soak up the local flavour where Darwin’s main thoroughfares intersect in the bustling heart of the city.

Following your urban exploits the Darwin city tour then heads north towards Casuarina Coastal Reserve and magnificent sandy beaches and views.  Named for the eponymous evergreen shrubs that dot its scenic coastline. Keep your eyes peeled for ospreys and sea eagles darting among the mangroves as you stroll the beach, searching for smooth stones and sea glass. Treat yourself to brunch at a neighbouring restaurant after working up an appetite.

From Casuarina Coastal Reserve, head south towards Nightcliff Jetty and East Point Reserve, pausing at both picturesque destinations to snap photos and admire the brilliant surf. At East Point Reserve, keep your eyes peeled for wallabies who love to explore the smooth, sandy spits between the rocky headlands.
