Begin your small group luxury Litchfield tour with convenient pickup from your Darwin accommodation around 7.00 am. Journey south in Mercedes comfort along the Stuart Highway to the crystal clear waters of Berry Springs.
BERRY SPRINGS NATURE RESERVE
Berry Springs includes a diverse range of habitat and options. In addition, from the depths of the earth, clear geothermal waters rise to the surface and cascade over a small waterfall. This creates the perfect opportunity to sit and enjoy a relaxing water massage. The moment also lends itself to savoring homemade mango muffins and morning coffee.
After the massage perhaps paddle or swim around and watch the abundant aquatic wildlife. Maybe you would rather just sit stay in the waterfall or go for a serene rainforest stroll along the creek.
Reluctantly leaving this piece of heaven we set our sights on the wonderland which is Litchfield National Park.
Note: Berry Springs is usually seasonally closed from November to end of April and as such will not be included in the itinerary during this time.
LItCHFIELD NATIONAL PARK
After Berry Springs it is time to explore Litchfield National Park . Known for its diversity and abundance of great waterfalls such as Florence Falls, Wangi Falls and Tolmer Falls. It also home to unique wetlands, stone country, ravines, gorges, cathedral termites, magnetic termites and much more.
Within this kaleidoscope of great aspects you can expect to see many fine examples on your Litchfield tour.
Cascading waterfalls, crystal clear swimming spots, grand viewpoints, endemic plants and animals. All are on your list of things to experience.
Enjoy the relaxed pace as your guide tailors the afternoon to suit you.
Having sated our exploratory and adventure need we pass through the historic township of Batchelor on the edge of Litchfield National Park .
BATCHELOR
Batchelor is a melting pot of personal stories of the people and events which shaped the NT. Such things as WWII, uranium mining for nuclear weapons, farming research, indigenous education and life and times of the pioneering people who live here and first nation people who call it home.

I took the Litchfield Day Tour with Rob and I truly had an incredible time! I was worried that since I went in the wet season there wouldn't be anything to see, but I was completely proven wrong when Rob took us to so many beautiful waterfalls and for a lovely swim in the river! Lunch was delicious and Ethical Adventures went out of their way to accommodate for a food allergy of mine as well. Thank you so much Rob and team, this tour was absolutely a highlight during my time in Darwin!
Had a great time exploring ,swimming in the waterfalls and walking through the Wetlands. What a relaxing, informative and fun day! Everything was taken care of by our guide Carl ( pick up at our motel, driving us to all the sights with an in depth commentary, providing snacks and lunch that was delicious and filling ). The tour was comprehensive, everyone receiving individual attention with the day running smoothly and professionally. Because it was a small group , there was flexibility in the tour program allowing individual interests to be met.
I would highly recommend this tour knowing all requests will be met and by the knowledgable guides who are very capable in knowing their tour subject .. This allowed a very relaxed, educated, happy experience for all in the group to have a great day we will remember positively always.
Special thanks to Carl for our wonderful day. Carl is kindly and provided fascinating informed details of the area we visited. The swim and relax under the waterfall at Berry Springs , delicious lunch on the Wetlands quietly taking in the beauty and bird life together with the 240 M swim to and from the Wangi Falls will remain a highlight of my life . We’ve travelled a lot and the breathtaking tranquil beauty there was wonderful .
You deserve a raise Carl ! 😀😀😀😀🐊😀😀😀
My wife and I had the most amazing enjoyable and educational day with Rob and our small group from young adults to the oldest (we are over 75).
Rob took us to out of the way fantastic places at the best times so as to avoid crowds.
His passion and extensive knowledge was awesome and kept us constantly interested.
Rob also has a great sense of humour and is the best tour guide we have ever had.
