Pick up from Darwin
An early morning start at 6am as we make our way to greet the sunrise on the dynamic Adelaide River floodplains. Enjoy a breakfast snack along the way as we head directly to the East Alligator River for intimate interactions with some of the biggest saltwater crocodiles living here.
Ubirr rock & ANCIENT rock art
Ubirr Rock is of cultural significance to the aboriginal people of the area. It is an outstanding location that showcases ancient rock art sites dating back up to 20,000 years. Here, is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in indigenous history and learn about the traditional owners and their journey through time. With the help of the vast knowledge of our local guide, you can hear about the stories recorded in art and how their techniques changed through the years.
Nadab Lookout
It is worth the short climb on uneven ground to the top of Ubirr rock to see panoramic views of the spectacular Nadab floodplains. It is a moment to pause and appreciate the exceptional natural beauty of Kakadu National Park and why it is a world heritage listed park.

We had the most awesome experience touring Kakadu today with Steve he was knowledgeable and informative and a genuinely great guy who went out of his way to make sure we got the most out of our tour. Crocs at Cahill Crossing, a wild pig crossing the road!, a pair of Jabiru and a sea eagle just to get started. Incredible rock art at Ubirr and the most incredible view from the top. Followed up by a river cruise and further croc sighting, a huge day with an early start but so worth it. Brekky lunch and snacks were sensational so glad we chose Ethical Adventures! Book you won’t be disappointed highly recommend .Thanks Steve!!
Thanks heaps Michelle & Ian for your great feedback for our Kakadu Day tour from Darwin and our awesome guide, Steve. It is an absolute pleasure to be able to enable you to hav such a staisfying experience. Take Care and see you next time for a Litchfield tour perhaps 🙂 Cheers, Rob
Six of us wanted to visit Kakadu but only had one spare day and I asked Rob if he could arrange a tour. He obliged by creating Flood Country and we were the first group to participate with the excellent tour guide, Nalani. The cruise on the East Alligator River with a local Arnhem Land man was both picturesque and educational and the rock art at Ubirr was outstanding but the highlight was the 30 minute flight over Kakadu and Arnhem Land to gain a real perspective of the ruggedness, remoteness and beauty of the area.
