Example Tour Outline
Day 1 – darwin to Litchfield National Park
Meet your expert guide at the front of your accommodation in Darwin and begin the journey south to Litchfield National Park.
Travel back in time as you visit historic mining ruins and ponder the nature of life on the frontier. See also mother natures statues (Cathedral and Magnetic Termite mounds) in and around the woodland, grassland and forests that form the natural backdrop as you provide witness to the scene.
Undertake short hikes into secluded swim spots and viewpoints during the early afternoon before seeking the perfect location to savour dinner and watch the golden rays of sunset play across the ancient sandstone landforms of Litchfield Park.
As the ochre colours gain intensity and daylight closes out it is time to take a moment to sit and watch the flickering campfire flames whilst savoring your outback dinner.
After dinner you can ease into your tent of dreams or embark on a bit of night sky navigation and wildlife spotting … your choice 🙂
Day 2 – Litchfield National Park
Rising early with the birds for a light breakfast next to the clear waters of one of the many waterfall fed swim holes in Litchfield is the way we like to start our day.
Relax and take in the scene and moments before embarking on further adventures. Today we will be swimming in waterfalls, undertaking short walks and learning about the natural wealth of food, medicine and resource plants in the area.
Returning to Darwin around 1730 pm.

A tour with Ethical Adventures is one that will stay with you long after it’s over. My 2 day/1 night Litchfield trip was fantastic! Rob is knowledgeable and passionate about the NT - we went to the most stunning locations for walking and swimming and our overnight camp - he guided us to places away from crowds so we often had swimming holes to ourselves! The food was great and we enjoyed banter a plenty!
Rob’s passion for the environment and the ethics behind travel are second to none. This is the kind of travel operator that will ensure the longevity and sustainability of the ‘WOW moments’ we all seek as a traveler.

Amazing 2 day experience in Litchfield. Everything is fully catered for all you have to do is turn up and enjoy the experience.
Rob has so much knowledge of the area, carefully plans each hike, lagoon swim around what will give you the best experience. For me that meant I got to see the beautiful natural areas without the crowds.
I highly recommend for anyone wanting to explore the natural wonders of Litchfield.
