Litchfield tour Berry Springs
Litchfield tour Buley Rockhole

Best Litchfield Day Tour EVER.

If we had the chance to give a better rank than excellent, we would do that.

Excellent it is not enough to describe the value of such experience from the place visited, the tales of Rob, the delicious food, the high care of any small detail that makes this a magic day.

Thanks again for such a wonderful experience.

Begin your small group Litchfield National Park tour with pickup from your Darwin accommodation around 7.30 am. Journey south in Mercedes comfort along the Stuart Highway to the crystal clear waters of Berry Springs.

Fringed by monsoon rainforest this is a biological hotspot with heavenly natural springs to match. From the depths of the earth the clear geothermal waters rise to the surface and cascade over a small waterfall. This creates the perfect opportunity to sit and enjoy a relaxing water massage whilst savoring homemade mango muffins and morning coffee.

Afterwards, paddle or swim around and watch the abundant aquatic wildlife.  Perhaps you may rather just sit casually under the waterfall or go for a serene rainforest stroll along the creek.  Leaving this piece of heaven we set our sights on the historic township of Batchelor, the gateway to Litchfield National Park . Along the way get to know the landscape and history of the Top End and Adelaide River Region before arriving at the historic township of Batchelor.

In Batchelor we take the time to visit the local museum. This community run feature showcases many personal stories of the people and events which shaped the NT such as WWII, uranium mining, farming and general lives of those that pioneered the region and the first nation people of the region also.

It also offers an exclusive venue to enjoy our picnic lunch in comfort and ease.

After lunch it is time to explore Litchfield National Park . Known for its diversity and abundance of great waterfalls such as Florence Falls, Wangi Falls and Tolmer Falls, it also home to unique wetlands, stone country, ravines, gorges, cathedral termites, magnetic termites and much more.

Cascading waterfalls, crystal clear swimming spots, grand viewpoints, endemic plants and animals will be on your list of things to experience as well as taking quiet time where you need.

Enjoy the relaxed pace as your guide tailors the afternoons to suit you.

This is the Litchfield National Park tour for you.

Rise and shine and be ready for a 7.00 am pickup from your Darwin accommodation.

Up early to get us straight out to Litchfield National Park and on to some of those magical short walks possibly ending in your own swimming hole ! Enjoy a plunge pool or two or try your hand at swimming under a waterfall. There is plenty of adventure on this tour.

Spend the day exploring the best of what the national park has to offer. This includes a visit to the bottom of Florence Falls for a swim, snorkel or relaxation, monsoon forest walk, wildlife spotting, giant termite mounds and magnetic termites, Buley Rockhole, Tolmer Falls, Wangi Falls and unique feature of Tabletop Wetland.

With ample time for photos, relaxation and reflection you will be back at your Darwin  accommodation around 5 pm.

Awesome day!! 10/10

I loved the small group and had the best day. Rob was friendly, knowledgeable and shared his love of the environment. I may or may not have had more than one mango muffin... lol. Litchfield is beautiful, you should definitely do this trip!

Relaxed and friendly adventure

Rob is an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and passionate guide with a great sense of humour. A friendly, small group tour with an excellent choice of stops. The day was nicely paced with plenty of time to experience each of the uncrowded sites. Swimming masks were provided for exploring underwater at billabongs.
Thanks to Tracey for preparing the delicious healthy picnic lunch and plentiful homemade snacks we all enjoyed during this fabulous day trip.

Great Litchfield experience

Highly recommend the Litchfield Wanderer day trip, we had a great day together and really enjoyed the experiences of Berry Springs, Batchelor and Florence Falls - the swimming was amazing! Our guide was enthusiastic and informative sharing her own experience and showed a real interest in making our day the best it could be.

Quality Litchfield Experience

Ethical Adventure's Litchfield trip exemplifies all of the reasons we prefer small group tours: interaction with the guide and other guests plus a tailored, personalized service. Others have mentioned some of the unexpected add-ons that elevate the experience but above all it's being treated more like a guest than a statistic. It's a premium product but the line about the memory of quality outlasting the thrill of a cheap price is completely accurate..
