Get to know the history and hear the stories 1000s of years in the making whilst learning of present day issues and threats. Litchfield Wanderer (Wet and Wild) is a true adventure.
Best Day trip Ever!
This was the most well organised, fun day trips we’ve experienced. The tour operator is a local with a vast knowledge of the area and understands the historical significance of the places he took us. We recommend this company highly.
Your Litchfield wet season day tour begins as you are picked up from your hotel around 0730 am and relax in our comfortable Mercedes touring vehicle.
As the warm golden rays highlight the red tones of the landscape, you’ll head south on your way to Litchfield National Park.
Along the way you will learn some of the bush foods and medicine plants of the Top End, history, stories and general aspects that make this a unique place to visit and cherish..
Once into Litchfield Park it is time to see what the wet season has delivered. Florence Falls, Buley Rockhole, Tolmer Falls, Wangi Falls and Table Top Swamp … all great places to see with some offering the possibility of a tropical swim.
Being an authentic small group tour we will tailor the actual itinerary on the day to suit the group’s desires but rest assured… it will be a cracker!
