Darwin Wildlife Tour

best tour we have done

… It was fabulous from go to whoa.  Rob was a brilliant guide with his knowledge and enthusiasm being very contagious.  Nothing was too much trouble and he created a very close knit group with our fellow travelers … to not do a tour with ethical adventures would be a mistake as it really doesn’t get any better than this …

Suggested Itinerary

Your NT wildlife and environments tour begins with an early start to catch the magnificent outback sunrise on the floodplains of the mighty Adelaide River. This region is a mecca for NT wildlife and also the perfect place to snack on tea, coffee, and hot, homemade ham and cheese croissants.

Bush Foods & Medicines

Listen as your guide introduces you to some of the many foods and medicinal plants that thrive amongst the wetlands and forests.  Relax and admire the antics of the abundant wildlife that frolic, scamper and glide all around.

NT Birds

The area boasts over 230 species of birds, as well as one of the largest snake populations in Australia to keep them company.

Departing Fogg Dam your NT Wildlife tour travels to Corroboree Billabong.

Crocodiles in their natural state

This is part of a system of wetlands estimated to have the largest concentration of saltwater crocodiles in the world!

Enjoy ample opportunities to spot these huge reptiles as you embark on a relaxing river cruise, making your way through their habitat.

A touch of style

Afterwards, enjoy a light snack of fresh homemade sandwiches overlooking Corroboree Billabong before making our way back to Darwin and return to your chosen location.

Wonderful, ethical trip

A wonderful surprise, found at very short notice. Ethical Adventures ticked all the boxes for me. Small groups, informative & nothing was too much trouble! Rob is a delightful tour guide, who cares about the environment. He was very knowledgeable in describing birds, various areas, and environmental issues. Highly recommended!

Hi Eva, Thanks for your review. It was a pleasure to share the morning sunrise and the NT wildlife and environments with you. I look forward to your return to the Top End. All the best, Rob

An experience not to be missed

A well-organised small group that ensured we were introduced to some wonderful aspects of the Northern Territory's natural environment by a passionate tour leader. I was also very impressed by how much care had been taken to ensure that my dietary requirements were met.

Hi Janet, Glad you loved the day out amongst the NT Wildlife and also the food items included ... gotta keep the stomach happy 🙂

Take care and all the best,
